John Roder is one of the leading freelance football commentators on television. He commentates on the Premier League for the prestigious and world famous BBC programme Match of the Day; and is a regular voice on tv stations all around the world.
John has appeared on BBC, ITV, Channel Four, Five, Sky Sports, Setanta Sports and Eurosport in the UK; and is frequently heard on Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta in North America; SBS and Setanta in Australia, Al Jazeera in the Middle East; and ESPN Star in Asia.
He has covered all the major football events; World Cups, European and African Championships, the Champions League and UEFA Cup; Copa Libertadores; Olympic Games; as well as domestic league and cup football from England, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil and Japan.
